TOUR PLANNING GUIDE · PRICES & INCLUSIONS
Two tours can show similar prices and still cover very different things. This guide explains how to read a tour price in AUD, what it may or may not include, and which extra costs are worth checking before you commit.

First light
When you’re weighing up Uluru and Red Centre tours, the headline figure is only the start. Most of the useful comparison comes from asking the same three questions of every option.
QUESTION 1
Read the tour inclusions and exclusions side by side. A lower price may simply mean fewer things are covered, so compare what you actually get for the money.
QUESTION 2
Published tour prices should be shown in Australian dollars and include compulsory charges where required. If a price looks unusually low, check whether those charges are added later.
QUESTION 3
Look for optional extras, add-ons and costs you’ll cover yourself on the day. Knowing these upfront helps you compare the real total, not just the starting figure.
Midday
These are checks, not assumptions. Every tour is different, so confirm each item against the tour details and the operator’s conditions before you book.

PARK ENTRY
Check whether national park entry is included in the AUD price or needs to be arranged separately.
MEALS
Check which meals are provided, if any, and which you’ll need to plan and pay for yourself.
ACCOMMODATION
On multi-day tours, check whether accommodation is included and what type it is.
PICK-UP POINTS
Check where the tour starts and whether pick-up from your location is part of the price.
OPTIONAL EXTRAS
Check which activities are optional add-ons and how they change the total cost.

Independent local operators deliver every tour.
Adventure Tours Uluru helps you discover and compare selected tours. We don’t run the tours ourselves. Prices, availability, itineraries, inclusions and departure arrangements depend on the conditions that apply to each tour, and each tour page names the operator responsible.
