06 · EXPLORING TOUR OPTIONS FOR ULURU

Uluru tour options,
laid out side by side.

Uluru is the heart of what we do. We bring together selected tours from independent local operators so you can compare itineraries, inclusions and AUD prices in one place. When a tour suits your plans, you can follow its booking channel where the operator or booking provider supports it.

WHAT THIS COVERS

Selected Uluru tours from independent local operators, with a focus on adventure and sightseeing. Each tour has its own page, backed up by our Uluru Tours and Red Centre Tours overviews.

WHAT IT HELPS YOU DECIDE

Which itinerary fits the time you have, what the AUD price covers and whether there are compulsory charges or extra costs to budget for.

WHO DOES WHAT

Independent operators deliver every tour, including guiding, transport and activities where applicable. We help you find the tours, compare them and get to the booking.

Choices that are
specific to Uluru.

Some decisions only come up at Uluru. Does the itinerary set aside time for sunrise or sunset at the rock? Would you rather spend more of the day walking, or more of it viewing from lookouts? And is a shorter Uluru tour enough, or would a multi-day Red Centre trip suit your plans better?

Light and conditions are never guaranteed, so read each tour’s itinerary and conditions. For the trade-offs between trip lengths, read Shorter Uluru Tour or Multi-day Red Centre Tour?

FIVE THINGS TO CHECK ON ANY ULURU TOUR

01  Itinerary
What the day actually covers, and how much of it you spend travelling rather than at each stop.

02  Duration
How long the operator says the tour runs, and whether that works around your flights and accommodation.

03  Inclusions and exclusions
Check whether park entry is included in the price, and which meals, equipment or transfers are listed.

04  Price in AUD
The total in Australian dollars, including any compulsory charges. Our guide to tour prices, inclusions and extra costs explains what to look for.

05  Departure arrangements
Where and how the tour departs, and what the operator’s conditions say about changes and cancellations.

BEFORE YOU FOLLOW A BOOKING LINK

An Uluru checklist,
item by item.

✓  Park entry
Is it listed in the inclusions, or is it an extra cost in AUD?

✓  Pick-up and departure
Where does the tour depart, and does it include pick-up from your accommodation?

✓  Sunrise or sunset timing
Does the itinerary schedule time at either? Remember that nobody can promise the light.

✓  Walking or viewing
How much of the day is spent on foot, and how much at lookouts or in transit?

✓  Operator and conditions
The tour page names the independent operator. Prices, availability, itineraries, inclusions and departure arrangements are subject to that tour’s conditions.

✓  Who handles the booking
Where online booking is supported, our booking disclosures explain who processes payment, confirms your place and handles any changes.

Questions worth
settling first.

Short answers to the things travellers most often want to know before they choose an Uluru tour.

What should I check about park entry or pick-up?
Look at the tour’s inclusions and conditions on its page. They show whether park entry is part of the AUD price and where and how the tour departs, including any pick-up.

Can a tour’s departure or conditions be promised?
Availability is confirmed by the operator or booking provider. Nobody can promise the weather, wildlife or particular light, so read each tour’s conditions before you commit.

Should I choose a shorter tour or go multi-day?
It depends on your time, pace and what you’d like to see beyond the rock. Shorter Uluru Tour or Multi-day Red Centre Tour? walks through the trade-offs.
